Florence Ellen Harvey, 94, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2011. She was born on August 16, 1917 in Iosco County, Michigan to Frank & Daisy (Dusep) Peters. She married LeRoy "Roy" Harvey on January 2, 1937 in Angola, Indiana. He predeceased her in 2005. She had lived in Gladwin County since 1946, previously residing in Flint, Michigan and was a member of Dale United Methodist Church and Ladies Aid. She was first employed at the Dundas Store, then Edenville IGA, then went to work at Robinson Industries and then Sears in Midland. She is survived by her daughter: Sharon (Richard) Walters of Grand Blanc; 2 grandchildren:  Scott (Dawnn) Walters of Burton & Rebecca (Tom) Blazo of Grand Blanc; 5 great grandchildren: Derek, Jordan, Payton, Gabriel & Kirsten; 1 sister: Leona Ryan of Lapeer. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 sisters: Helen Lawson, Lilly Stoner, Catherine Weaver; 1 brother: Glen Peters. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from 3-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, 11:00 A.M. She will be laid to rest at Tobacco Twp. (Dale) Cemetery, Beaverton, Michigan.
