Patricia Alice Mossner, 84, of Reese, died, Friday morning, October 28, 2011 at The Lutheran Home of Frankenmuth. She was born on October 29, 1926 inImlayCity, daughter of the late Elmer and Ruth (Wills) Seidell. Patricia graduated from Almont High School in 1946 and was then employed by Detroit Edison Company in Almont. She married Richard Mossner Jr. on August 14, 1948. Patricia then when on to work for many years at the Convalescent Home in Frankenmuth and then The Lutheran Home of Frankenmuth. Patricia had been a member ofChristLutheranChurchin Reese since 1949. She was very active with the church as Senior Choir member, Jr. Lutheran Leader, LSSM Action Rep., LSSM Ambassador,Naomi Circle, Alter Guild, CLCW Board member, and volunteered at the Thrift Store for many years. Surviving in addition to her husband Richard of 63 years are her children, Stephen P. (Linda) Mossner of Old Hickory, TN., Elizabeth Tack ofSarasota,FL., Gregory R. Mossner of Reese; son-in-law, Bruce Daenzer of Frankenmuth; grandchildren, Heather (Clayton) Bouck of Sebewaing, Ryan Mossner of Sarasota, FL., Ian Mossner of Old Hickory, TN., Mackenzie Daenzer and Allison Daenzer both of Frankenmuth; great grandchildren, Jared Bouck and Madisienne Bouck both of Sebewaing; brothers and sister, David and Shirley Seidell, Tom and June Seidell all of Dryden, MI and Cynthia and Gerald Duckert of Imlay City; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Wayne John of Nebraska, Jack Webster of Georgia, Marilyn Seidell of Dryden and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by a daughter, Alice Daenzer; son-in-law, James Tack; brothers and sisters, Damaris and Melvin Sanders, Carolyn Webster, Susan John, Sarah and Eddie Wilson, Peter J. Seidell and Jack Seidell. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2011 fromChristLutheranChurchin Reese. Rev. Tom Senge will officiate with burial inBlumfieldTownshipCemetery. Patricia’s family will receive friends at theWare-Smith-WooleverFuneral Home, 9940 Saginaw Street, Reese on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
