Survived By: Surviving are three daughters and spouses, Lisa (Rich) Cottrell, Joann (Brian) Frederick and Diane (Martin) Starke; ten grandchildren, Jason (Courtney) Starke, Carrie (Steve) Young, Shannon (Joe) Rinckey, Kristen (HR) Topham, Katie Eggebrecht, Jenna Marsden, Joe Marsden, Robert, Rachael and Erin Lister; 11 great grandchildren and one on the way; a special sister-in-law, Elaine Fries; favorite pals, Caroline Chludil, Marilyn Blehm, Kate Ballien and Carole Louchart; and her family of Hope Lutheran Church. She was preceded by her parents, brother, Jim Fries and a son, Larry on November 30, 1985.
Affiliations: Donna was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and its Altar Guild.

Lister, Donna L. of St. Charles, Michigan, seen heaven and went to meet the Lord on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Chesaning Nursing Care Center. Age 79 years. Donna was born September 30, 1932 in Saginaw to Jacob and Frieda Fries. She married Joseph Lister on December 9, 1950. He preceded her on May 26, 1996. Donna was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and its Altar Guild.

 

Surviving are three daughters and spouses, Lisa (Rich) Cottrell, Joann (Brian) Frederick and Diane (Martin) Starke; ten grandchildren, Jason (Courtney) Starke, Carrie (Steve) Young, Shannon (Joe) Rinckey, Kristen (HR) Topham, Katie Eggebrecht, Jenna Marsden, Joe Marsden, Robert, Rachael and Erin Lister; 11 great grandchildren and one on the way; a special sister-in-law, Elaine Fries; favorite pals, Caroline Chludil, Marilyn Blehm, Kate Ballien and Carole Louchart; and her family of Hope Lutheran Church. She was preceded by her parents, brother, Jim Fries and a son, Larry on November 30, 1985.

 

The family would like to thank all Donna’s wonderful caregivers of the past four years.

 

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2011 at Hope Lutheran Church, 1120 W. Walnut St., St. Charles. Pastor Jason Baldwin will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the Kendall Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to Hope Lutheran Church.
