Survived By: his son Gary (Marilyn) Bremer of Bay City, his daughter Susan (Thomas) Oliver of Kalamazoo, his grandson Kurt Bremer and fiancée Paige Peterson, and his granddaughter Catherine (Josh) Lewis, and many other loving family members and many friends.
Affiliations: Mr. Bremer was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Saginaw and the Senior Singers. He served his country in the U.S. Army in New Guinea, the Philippines and Japan during World War Two with the 593rd Amphibious Engineering Co. He served as a bank auditor for 46 years with Michigan National Bank.

Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009.  Age 91 years.  Robert Martin Bremer was born July 29, 1918 in Saginaw to Albert and Anna (Hoffman) Bremer.  He married Ella A. Hartman on October 5, 1946.   She predeceased him on January 9, 2006.  Mr. Bremer was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Saginaw and the Senior Singers.  He served his country in the U.S. Army in New Guinea, the Philippines and Japan during World War Two with the 593rd Amphibious Engineering Co.   He served as a bank auditor for 46 years with Michigan National Bank. 

Surviving are his son Gary (Marilyn) Bremer of Bay City,

his daughter Susan (Thomas) Oliver of Kalamazoo,

his grandson Kurt Bremer and fiancée Paige Peterson, and his granddaughter Catherine (Josh) Lewis, and many other loving family members and many friends.  The family extends a grateful thank you to the nursing staff at Covenant CCU, the Lutheran Home Health Care and Hospice of Hope.

Funeral service will take place 11 AM Tuesday, Nov. 24th at  the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home on S. Midland Rd.   Rev. Paulette Cummings will officiate with entombment to follow at Roselawn Mausoleum.  Friends are welcome to call on the family at the funeral home on Monday from 1pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm.  Memorial offerings are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church or Immanuel Lutheran Church of Bay City Broadcast Fund.
