Lillian J. Bickel

Passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, age 75 years.  Lillian J. Hair was born on June 5, 1936.  She married Raymond L. Bickel on July 8, 1955; he preceded her in death on April 25, 1985.  She was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.

Surviving are 2 sons and 4 daughters; Walter (Dawn) Bickel, Caro, Raymond (Jannette) Bickel, Ft. Bragg, N.C., Lois (Ray) Illikman, Saginaw, Patricia Hodgins, Vassar, Christine (Rex) Fritz, Caro, Lorrie Bickel, Caro, 19 grand children and 10 great-grandchildren, a brother, Jerry (Adeline) Hair, and a sister, Eleanor Dupuis. 

Lillian was preceded in death by a brother, LeRoy Hair, a sister, Sylvia Bickel and a granddaughter Nicole.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, December 7, at 10:15 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. and 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.  Rev. Mark D. Brandt will officiate with burial between services in St. Lorenz Cemetery.  Lillian’s family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family of Lillian Bickel c/o Walter Bickel.  Please sign our guest book or share an online condolence with the family at <a href=
