Smith, Kenneth Frederick of Saginaw passed away Sunday evening December 4, 2011.  Kenneth was born on July 16, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Henry and Edna Murphy Smith.  While serving in the US Army, he met and married his wife Tokiko Yamada.  Ken worked for many years as a baker and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.  Surviving besides his wife of 54 years, Tokiko; are his children Karen (Bill) Hunt and Paul (Shelly) Smith.  He also leaves 7 grandchildren; Michael (Shelby)Brown, Allison, Tiffany, Topanga and Anna Smith, Katherine and Billy Hunt III and two great grandchildren, Kyleigh and Michael Brown Jr.  Funeral service will take place on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011 at 11am at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 808 Weiss St., The Reverend Michael R. Korte will officiate.  Visitation will take place at the McIntyre Funeral Chapel, 500 N. Michigan on Wednesday from 4-8pm and at the church on Thursday from 10am until time of service.
