Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at her home.  Age 80 years.  The daughter of the late Phillip and Margaret (Alexander) Yockey Margaret was born on November 18, 1931 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Dale E. Sage, Sr. on May 3, 1952.  He predeceased her on September 11, 2006.  Margaret was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and taught Religious Education for several years. She enjoyed crocheting, playing poker, reading, doing puzzles, cooking and playing Yahtzee.

 Surviving are three daughters and two sons, Connie and Paul Chronowski, Caro; Jeff Sage, Saginaw; Mark and Jenny Sage, Saginaw; Cathy and Jeff Peterson, Saginaw; Christine Sage and her fiancé, Robbie Klonowski, Saginaw; daughter-in-law, Nancy Sage, Saginaw; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by a son, Dale (Ed) Edward Sage Jr.

 Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.  Rev. Fr. Ronald Dombrowski will officiate with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty) where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. A Vigil Service, led by Sr. Christine Gretka, CSJ, will take place 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
