Isabel M. Andreck, Auburn, Michigan, formerly of Standish, passed away December 13, 2011 at Brian's House following a brief illness. Isabel was born May 26, 1921 in Lincoln Township, Arenac County, Michigan to the late Leo and Celia (Stefanski) DeRosia. Isabel married Mynard Miller who predeceased her in 1966. She married Edwin Andreck who predeceased her in 1990.

 

Isabel was a life-long member of Resurection of the Lord Catholic Church in Standish. She and her husband Mynard operated Fletcher's Sporting Goods for many years, she was a legal secretary to Judge O'Keefe and a lab technician for Dr. Dolbee before retiring to gardening and her many friends.

 

She is survived by three children, a son Alvin L. Miller, two daughters Patricia A (William) Denzer, and Carol M. (David) Sevener, two sister-in-laws Jacqueline Johnson and Delphine Reid. Isabel leaves ten grandchildren and 14 great-grandchilcren. She was predeceased by two sisters, Leona DeRosia and Genevive Cossin, one brother Donald DeRosia, and a daughter-in-law Connie Miller.

 

At Isabel's request, the family will receive visitors at the R. O. Savage Funeral Home, Standish, on Friday, December l6, 2011 from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday December 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Father Christopher Coman officiating. Isabel will lie in state from 9:00 AM until time of service. At the family's request, any donations shall be directed to Brian's House.
