Witkowski, Josephine A. of St. Charles, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at her daughter’s home in Saginaw. Age 89 years. Josephine was born July 13, 1922 in Brant Township to Andrew and Anna Pahota. She married Danny Witkowski on July 25, 1942 in St. Charles. He preceded her on September 10, 2011. Josephine was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and its Altar Society. She enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, gardening and dancing. Josephine was a school bus driver for St. Charles Community Schools.

Surviving are a son, James Witkowski; a daughter and spouse, Sally and Dave Otter; two grandsons and spouses, Jason and Christy Otter, Derek and Kris Otter; a great grandson, Jackson Maxwell Otter; a sister, Sophie Hertz and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded by a sister, Stella Swaffield.

Funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the Kendall Funeral Home, St. Charles. Private burial will be on Thursday in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 21^st from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
