Affiliations: Mr. Alexander retired from Fisher Body Coldwater Rd. in 1989 with 36 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #326.

ALEXANDER, Earl Warren – of Montrose, age 82, died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be 3 PM Monday, January 2, 2012 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose, Rev. Bob Leming officiating. Burial will be at Montrose Township Cemetery with military honors. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11 AM until time of services. Contributions may be made to Montrose Family Worship Center.

 

Earl was born January 14, 1928 in Newberry, MI to the late David and Mabel (Cadmus) Alexander. He was a resident of Montrose most of his life. He married Dorothy Cogswell on May 24, 1949. She preceded him in death on December 5, 2008. Mr. Alexander retired from Fisher Body Coldwater Rd. in 1989 with 36 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #326. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors and gardening.

 

Surviving are: children, Earl (Debi) Alexander Jr. of Au Gres, Michigan, Richard Alexander of Clio, Linda (Mike) Back of Montrose, Ronald Alexander of Montrose, Diane (Jeff) Thornburg of Eagle, Michigan, Janet Alexander of Saginaw; special family friend, Jane Koski of Saginaw; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Daisy Rowe of Bay Port, Mabel Stanley of Clio; brother, David (Dorothy) Alexander of Clio; several nieces and nephews.
