Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the Browne's Mortuary, 441 N. Jefferson Ave. Fr. Dave Parsch will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 until 8:00 pm.

Ms. Wendlyn Lee Edwards passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the age of 47 years. She was born February 28, 1964 in Saginaw, MI, the daughter of Russell Lee Edwards and Carol Jean Hartfelder.

Wendy was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, MI and was a 1982 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. She loved the Lord and her family with all of her heart. She liked gardening, writing, cooking and cleaning. Wendy loved her music and car racing.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory, two daughters and two sons, Joseph Edwards (fiance’, Kelly Caroll), Nicole (Shaun) Newton, Amy Edwards and Samuel Edwards, all of Saginaw, MI; one grandchild, Shaun Newton of Saginaw, MI; father, Russell Lee Edwards of Saginaw, MI; three sisters, Tamara Aday, Jennifer Edwards-Bickel and Shannon Edwards, all of Saginaw, MI; three nephews, Eric Aday, Brandon Aday, Kayden Pine and Dylan Bickel, all of Saginw, MI; special aunts and uncles, Dale and Sharon Greenfield, William and Suzanne Seibel, Robert and Jackie Jarabeck and Ronald and Janet Pohlman; brother-in-law, Eric Aday; and many cousins and friends, including a most cherished and loved friend, Samuel Bashans; very special friends, Ed Murray, Karen McCormick and Evelyn Watkins and special friend, Frank Watkins. 

Wendy was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Edwards; grandmother, Virginia Hartfelder; grandparents, Abe and Doris Grantham and Earl Edwards; and very dear friend, Ted McCormick.
