Survived By: his wife, June; three children, Fred (Chris) Licht of Sebewaing, Shiela (Bob) Lieber of Hubbard Lake and Bill (Cathie) Licht of Cortland, OH; six grandchildren, Christopher, Kyle, Britain, Mike, Mark and Sarah; five great grandchildren; and his sister, Leona (Nelson) Beck of Saginaw.

     Albert F. Licht age 87 of Sebewaing formerly of Elkton and Bad Axe died Friday afternoon
at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Saginaw following a short bout with pneumonia.

     He was born April 1, 1924, in Oliver Twp. at the home of his parents the late William and Dorathea
(Roeber) Licht. He graduated from Elkton High School in 1943. That same year,
he began his career at Elkton Coop Farm Produce.

     On October 9, 1948, he was united in marriage to Elsie Erb at Cross Lutheran Church, Pigeon.
They made their home in Elkton, where they raised three children. Elsie passed
away December 6, 1976.

     Al married June (Dutcher) Dormey, March 10, 1980, at the Pinnebog United Methodist Church
and made their home in Bad Axe. He retired from the Coop in 1989 with 46 years
of service.

     Al moved to Sebewaing three years ago, where he attended Emmanuel Lutheran Church. He
enjoyed playing cards, puzzles and loved to dance. He was also a wood worker,
making crafts and refinishing old furniture.

     Surviving are his wife, June; three children, Fred (Chris) Licht of Sebewaing, Shiela (Bob)
Lieber of Hubbard Lake and Bill (Cathie) Licht of Cortland, OH; six grandchildren, Christopher, Kyle, Britain, Mike, Mark and Sarah; five great grandchildren;
and his sister, Leona (Nelson) Beck of Saginaw.

     Preceding him in death are three brothers, Ervin, Werner and Adolph (Barney) Licht and four sisters, Hilda Nieschulz, Louise Ziegler, Meta Elftman and Delores Bender.

     Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 3, at the Champagne Funeral
Chapel, Elkton. Rev. Daniel Hahn, pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran Church will
officiate with burial in Caseville Twp. Cemetery.
