Miss Shelagowski 69 passed away Saturday January 14, 2012 atBayShoresRehabilitationCenterfollowing a brief illness. She was born in Kawkawlin on December 10, 1942 to the late Arthur & Dorothy (Kiesel) Shelagowski.  Carol had worked a t Purtell’s Restaurant,Wacoand was a caregiver to several people in the past years. She enjoyed being with her family specially her nieces and nephews and going on her shopping trips. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters Mary Szafaranski, Joyce & Gene Deford, George & Joyce Shelagowski, Helen & Don Duchene, Richard & Jean Shelagowski, Don & Deb Shelagowski, Connie & Dave Boothe and Karen & Jeff Roseberry; several nieces and nephews and great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Janice Shelagowski in 1972. The family would like to say “Thank you” to the staff atBayShoresRehabilitationCenterfor the care given to Carole during her stay.

Funeral & Committal services will be held Wednesday January 18, 2012 at 11 am from St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church with burial inHeavenlyRestCemetery. Friends may call at Rivertown Funeral Chapel on Tuesday 1 to 8 pm. On Wednesday Miss Shelagowski will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of services. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. Bartholomew Church.
