HISTED, Mary M. (McInerney) – ofFlint, age 92, passed away January 18, 2012 atGenesysHospiceCareCenter, Goodrich. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 NOON Monday, January 23, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church,2500N. Franklin Ave.,Flint; Rev. Fr. Francis Faraci celebrant. Burial will be inCrestwoodCemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday and 12-8 p.m. Sunday at Allen Funeral Home,9136 Davison Rd., Davison. A Rosary will be prayed 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. On Monday, there will be visitation at the church for one hour prior to theMass.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice,7280 S. State Rd.,Goodrich,MI,48438.

Mary was born August 8, 1919, inMunger,MI, daughter of the late Joseph and Rosella (Gelisse) McInerney. Mary McInerney married Harry Histed on January 12, 1947. Harry preceded her in death on January 6, 1983. Mary was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She volunteered for many years at the East Michigan Eye Society. Mary worked at Lewis St. Market.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Rosemary (John) Kovacevic of Fenton and son, Sherman Histed of San Diego, CA; daughters-in-law, Linda Histed of Lapeer and Karen Histed of El Cajon, CA; grandchildren, Stefanie and Kristy Histed of San Diego, CA, Bethany (Jeremy) Folland of Saginaw and Brigit (Joseph) Convery of Ypsilanti and, her kitty, Missy. She was preceded in death by her son, Bernard; siblings, Bernard, Arthur, Niel, Joseph, James and Margaret Molnar.
