Raymond Earl Timmons, 77, of Beaverton, Michigan, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 19, 2012. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 26, 1934 to Wilson & Thalia (Pernia) Timmons. He married Charlotte A. "Maude" Osterhoudt on July 20, 1957 in Portewen, New York. She predeceased him in 2009. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, serving his country during the Korean Conflict. He had lived in Gladwin County for the last 33 years, previously residing in Detroit and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Beaverton, as well as F.O.E. Albright Shores Aerie 3655 in Beaverton. He is survived by his daughters: Alicia (Arlie) Russell of Beaverton; Laura Graham also of Beaverton; sons: David Joseph (Renee) Timmons of Gladwin; John (Angie) Timmons of Midland; 5 grandchildren; brother: Jim Poupard of Monroe, MI and several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife: Charlotte "Maude" Timmons; son: Raymond Timmons; grandson: Matthew Herbin; granddaughter: Darian Timmons; brother: Robert Poupard; sister: JoAnn LaDuke; brothers: William Poupard & Donald Poupard. In accordance with the wishes of the family, cremation will take place and a Memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Paul Metzger on Monday, January 23, 2012, 4:00 P.M. with visitation beginning at 3:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Beaverton, Michigan.
