STEADMAN, Eleanor (Wilson) – of Clio, age 74, passed away peacefully at her residence, Thursday, January 19, 2012. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, January 23, 2012 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. Karen Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Visitation will be Sunday from 12-8PM at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.

Eleanor was born October 6, 1937 in Columbus, GA to the late William and Ellen Wilson. She was joined in marriage to Leo Steadman on June 3, 1954, they enjoyed 57 wonderful years together. She was very loving, caring, and family oriented. She enjoyed Florida sunshine, reading, playing bingo, the casino, camping trips, flowers, humming birds and spending time with the family. She will be dearly missed.

Eleanor leaves to cherish her memory: devoted husband and best friend, Leo Steadman; children, Leo Jr. (Mary) Steadman of Clio, David (Deb) Steadman of Shelbyville, TN, Lynda (Steve) Pace of Clio; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Tommy (Joyce) Wilson; sister, Irene (Lee) Lilley. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, a sister and a great grandchild. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Heartland Hospice.
