Brian “Money” McKinley Sr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 21, 2012 surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 50. He was born April 3, 1961 in Muskegon, Michigan to Emma McKinley and James Jackson.

A beloved husband, father, Grandfather, brother, and uncle, Brian enjoyed his family, cookouts, music and was an avid sports fan. He was also studying to be a Jehovah Witness. He graduated from Saginaw High School and was employed as a chef for over 20 years at the Saginaw Country Club.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife and soul mate Denise Mckinley and 5 children, Latoya Rodger, Christina(Devon) Spengler, La’Shonna Bolton, Nakesha Bolton and Brian McKinley Jr.; eight brothers and sisters, James Willie, Jessie James, Dorothy(George) Smith, Gwendolyn, Terry(Diedra) and Michael(Wendy); eleven grandchildren, DaVonte, Jermaine, Omarion, Ashanti, Jeremiah, Antonio, Elliott, Tradarionna, Kendra, Ally and Cassidy; father-in-law, Albert Beasley Sr.; sisters-in-law, LaRonda Beasley, Pam Beasley, Vanessa Marr; brother-in-law, Albert Beasley Jr.; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, as well as numerous special people including sister-in-law Nicole (Elroy) Goffney, goddaughter Deirdre Savcedo; nephews Jermaine Smith and Jalen Goffney; friends Bobby Kelly, Alex McCall, Dennis Jones, and Frank Garnica.

He was preceded in death by his mother Emma Mckinley, sister Mary Mitchell, mother-in-law Mildred Beasley, brothers-in-law Raymond Mitchell and Charles James, sister-in-law Franchine Mckinley.
