Martha M. Borgers, age 100, of Lapeer, formerly of Roseville, died Monday January 23, 2012. Martha was born April 6, 1911 in West Branch, Michigan to George and Mary (Smith)  Chrisher. She married Daniel Borgers on August 25, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois. Mrs. Borgers attended Calvary Bible Church in Lapeer, was a life member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed traveling.

Martha is survived by her sons: Harry (Pat) Borgers and Roy (Sharone) Borgers; grandchildren: Ted, Marty, Danielle, Becky and Brett and several great grandchildren. Mrs. Borgers was preceded in death by her husband: Daniel Borgers in 1969 and also four sisters: Elsie, Laura, Madge and Vivian.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday, January 25, 2012 and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday January 26, 2012 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer. Her funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 27, 2012 at the funeral home, Rev. Arnold Bracy officiating, with burial in Cadillac Memorial Gardens- Garden of the Good Shepherd in Mt. Clemens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
