Mr. Andrew Robert Schattilly, age 93, of Deford, formerly of Arizona, passed awayTuesday, January 24, 2012, at his home of old age.

He was born December 7, 1918 in Coleman, the son of the late Charles and Ethel (Ottis) Schattilly. On July 22, 1943 he married his wife Ella, in Saginaw. She passed away January 21, 1999. Andy served in the U S Armed Forces, and worked as a self employed grocer, owning Andy’s Grocery Store, and enjoyed talking with his customers. He also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his sons, Charles (the late Janet) Schattilly of Deford and Robert (Linda) Schattilly of Grand Blanc, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles Schattilly.

Following Andy’s wishes cremation has taken.
