TOWER, Carlos C. – of Clio, age 85, died Saturday, January 28, 2012 at MediLodge of Montrose. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly at a later date. Contributions may be made to the American Home Healthcare and Hospice at 2575 McLeod Dr N Ste C, Saginaw, MI 48604.

Carlos was born January 5, 1927 in Clio, MI to the late Carlos and Margarite (Cain) Tower and lived in Clio his entire life. He graduated from Clio High School and received his Bachelors in Engineering from Michigan State University. Carlos served the U.S. Army Air Corps and was a WWII Veteran. He married Sybil Eitzen on September 9, 1950 in Clio. Carlos retired from Chevy Flint Manufacturing as a Plant Engineer in 1982, after 23 years of service. He enjoyed playing cards, golfing, woodworking, camping and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are: son, Tracy (Santa) Tower of Huntington Woods; daughters, Teal (Dale) McCrimmon of Clio, Dee (Dave) Adams of Mt. Morris, Deneen (Matt) DeHate of Birch Run; 8 grandchildren.
