Survived By: Mr. Ramsden is survived by his wife of 61 years, Irene, their two sons; Richard A. "Rick" (Mary) Ramsden of Garden City, MI, and David (Jill) Ramsden of Munger. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, his sister Dolores (Donald) Wolverton of Reese, and brother in law Willard LaFave of Gladstone, MI.
Affiliations: He was a member of the IBEW Local 692, Bay City , since 1950. He was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Reese where he served as an usher, and a member of the Calico Twirlers' Square Dance Club, Frankenmuth.

Mr. Ramsden, age 81, died Thursday February 2, 2012 at his home.  Richard was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 21, 1931 to the late Richard G. and Marie (Gilbert) Ramsden.  He married the former Irene Renner on January 13, 1951.   He was a 1948 Graduate of Fairgrove High School. Dick served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.  He was a member of the IBEW Local 692, Bay City , since 1950. He was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Reese where he served as an usher,  and a member of  the Calico Twirlers’ Square Dance Club, Frankenmuth.    Dick enjoyed playing his guitar, camping, fishing, and playing with his Lionel trains.  Mr. Ramsden is survived by his wife of 61 years, Irene, their two sons; Richard A. “Rick” (Mary) Ramsden of Garden City, MI, and David (Jill) Ramsden of Munger.  Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, his sister Dolores (Donald) Wolverton of Reese, and brother in law Willard LaFave of Gladstone, MI.  He was preceded in death by his sister in law Betty LaFave and brother in law Robert Renner .  A Life celebration service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday February 5, 2012 at Christ Lutheran Church, 1946 S.
