ULRICH, Bette M. (81) of Bay City, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012. She was born on November 9, 1930. Bette married Charles L. Ulrich on April 16, 1955; he preceded her in death on January 7, 2012.

Surviving are her children: John (Louise) Ulrich and Shawna (Dave) Makielski; two grandchildren: Ian and Alex Wilkinson; a brother, William Shaw, Jr.; a sister-in-law, Paula (Cal) Long; and a special family friend, Doug Lagalo. Also surviving are many cousins, nephews, nieces and wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ulrich; parents: Helen and William Shaw; a daughter, Kay Ulrich; and her in-laws: Paul and Catherine Ulrich.

FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, 1503 Kosciuszko Ave., Bay City. Rev. Fr. Rick Filary will officiate. Private burial will take place in St. Andrew Cemetery.

VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with Bette’s family on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
