JARABEK, Helen Lucille, of Bridgeport passed away Sunday morning February 5th, 2012. Helen was at home surrounded by her family with the assistance of Hospice care at her home. Helen was born on December 27, 1933 in Saginaw to the late Elanor Lenk and Raymond Wolfe of Saginaw. She attended Saginaw High School and graduated in 1951. On October 25th, 1952 she married Bernard John Jarabek and has resided in Saginaw the entire time.
Helen is survived by her husband Bernard and two sons Michael & Rochelle Jarabek (Saginaw) and Steven & Kari Jarabek. Also surviving her are grandchildren Steven D. Jarabek & Grace E. Jarabek, as well as several nieces and nephews. Helen loved being outdoors and around her family. She will be sadly missed by all whose lives she has touched. Helen spent the majority of her married life as a homemaker, mother and loving wife.
God has called her home. Friends and family may take part in the celebration of her life to be held at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church located at 7877 Bell Rd. in Bridgeport on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 11am. Visitation will take place from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the church. Fr. John Sarge will officiate. Interment will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were made by the McIntyre Funeral Chapel, 500 N. Michigan Ave.
