Shook, Glen J.

Glen ascended to the Lord on Sunday February 5th, 2012. He was surrounded by his loving family. Glen
was born May 10, 1949 to Dorothy Jane Shook-King and the late Glen J. Shook Sr.
He married his wife Roberta on, December 12 ,1992 and she survives him. They enjoyed camping and fishing and frequently took their children and grandchildren with them.Glen was
self-employed as an over the road trucker.While on the road traveling between
the United States and Canada, his wife was frequently his co-pilot.They used
this opportunity to stop between jobs to enjoy the scenery, landmarks, and
visit out of state family. Glen was also instrumental in the implementation of County Connection.
Surviving besides his
wife Roberta are: six children, Robert (Sue)Shook, Amy (Joe)Wilson, Jay Shook,
Jeanne (Brian)Anderson, Ken Tester & Bryan Searson; eight grandchildren; one
great granddaughter; his mother, Dorothy King; brothers, Roger Shook, Rick
(Patty) Shook, Mike(Brenda) Shook & Roger(Ingred) King; sisters,
Bonnie(Sam) Fenton & Diana Fosgett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be truly missed by all. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at 5 PM at the Daniel’s Band Church, 525 E. Dopp Rd. Midland, MI. The family will receive
friends at the church on Wednesday from 4 PM until the time of the service.

those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorials to
