Federico, Gerald A.  “Jerry”

St. Charles, MI

Gerald passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012 following a lengthy illness.  Age 68 years. 
He was born August 3, 1943 in Saginaw to the late Anthony and Helen (Pellettier) Federico.

He served his country in the U.S. Army & worked for 32 years as a journeyman machine
repairman for Eaton Corporation.  He shared 44 happy years with his wife, the former Mary Ostermann, whom he married April 15, 1967.  His passions were racing, hunting, and building anything he could think of- affectionately nicknamed “MacGyver” by his close friends.

He is survived by his wife Mary; his daughter Elizabeth (Robert) Howe; granddaughter
Rishelle; his sister Joan Turek; his brothers Robert, Thomas (Karen), James, Lawrence (Marilyn) Federico; and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his sister Patricia
Dupuis and brother Donald Federico.

A Life Celebration Luncheon will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012, at 1 PM at
the James Township Hall, 6060 Swan Creek Rd., Saginaw MI.  The family will receive friends at the Hall on Friday beginning at 12 Noon.  In lieu of flowers, those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the charity of the donor’s choice.
