Survived By: Surviving besides his wife are his children Mary Alice (Richard) Drinkwine, Cynthia (Terry Peoples) Womack, Sheila (Dana Rutter) Yarger and Melissa (Steven) Heeter, 8 grandchildren Sara, Alyssa, Jordon, Sydney, Terry, Jared, Zachary, and Shaina, two brothers Ronald (Linda) Groulx, and Lawrence (Earline) Groulx.

Mr. Groulx age 70 passed away Tuesday December 8, 2009 at Bay Regional Medical Center.  He was born on May 18, 1939 in Merritt Township to the late Ervin & Fedoria (Fouchia) Groulx.  He married the former Alicia Aquirre on June 27, 1959 at St. Michael’s Church she survives him.  Dorcey was a member of St. Michael’s Church.  He retired from Northern Tube and was a member of the UAW, and a member of the Bay County Sheriff Mounted Division and was working at Classic Transport.  Surviving besides his wife are his children Mary Alice (Richard) Drinkwine, Cynthia (Terry Peoples) Womack, Sheila (Dana Rutter) Yarger and Melissa (Steven) Heeter, 8 grandchildren Sara, Alyssa, Jordon, Sydney, Terry, Jared, Zachary, and Shaina, two brothers Ronald (Linda) Groulx, and Lawrence (Earline) Groulx.  Dorcey was predeceased by a granddaughter Heather Drinkwine and a son-in-law Robb Yarger.

 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday December 12, 2009 at 1 pm from St. Michael’s Church with Rev. Fr. Joseph Miller presiding with burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm and on Friday from 1 to 8 pm.  On Friday a Prayer Vigil will be held at 7 pm Friday evening.  On Saturday Dorcey will lie in state at the church from 12 noon until time of service.  In lieu of flowers donations may be given to family wishes.
