            Passed away after a lengthy battle with breast cancer on February 18, 2012 at the age of 47.

            The daughter of Welton Clark and the
late Beulah Ruth (King) Clark was born on May 23, 1964 in California.  She married Brian Jones on August 25, 1995; he survives her.  Wendy served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant for 10 years; serving overseas during the Gulf War. She worked for the State of Michigan.  She enjoyed riding dune buggies, snowmobiles and Harley's with her husband.

            Surviving besides her father and husband Brian; is her daughter Shelby Jones, her mother and father "by marriage" Diane and Calvin Thayer, her brothers Daryl (Judith) Clark and Wayne Clark; her sister-in-law Tiffany Jones, grandma Dee Plunkett and her nephews and niece;  Ryan, Rachel, Adam, Aaron, Matthew Clark, and Wendy's two dogs Tacker and Otis.

            In accordance to Wendy's wishes cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2012 at W.L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. with military honors by VFW Post 1859.  Friends may visit at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers Wendy's wishes were for memorial donations to be made to the family to create an education fund for Shelby.  www.casefuneralhome.com
