Maureen Mae LeVasseur, age 70 passed away on Wednesday January 13, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family and loved ones after a long fight with lung cancer.  Maureen was born in Bay City on April 23, 1939 to the late Chester and Clara (Jeske) Wenglikowski.  Maureen married Jerome (Jay) LeVasseur on April 12, 1969.  Maureen and Jay have resided in Gladwin since 1973, previously residing in Auburn, Michigan.  Maureen was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.  Mrs. LeVasseur is survived by her husband Jerome LeVasseur and their seven children: Timothy (Melanie) LeVasseur of Gladwin, Annette (Jim) Murray of Gladwin, Alan LeVasseur of Merritt Island, FL, Cindy (Jon) Greer of Gladwin, Randy LeVasseur of Titusville, FL, Lynn (Bud) Boylen of Gladwin, Todd (Amy) LeVasseur of Harrison.  Also surviving are 23 grandchildren: Nicholas, Angela, Timothy, Jessica, Clara, Chad, Jennifer, Heather Rebekah, Natasha, Nicole, Arik, Travis, Nathaniel, Olivia, Natalia, Mikaley, Tyler, Devin, Sabrina, Elyssa, Elayna, Hailey, 10 great grandchildren: Dakotah, Phoenix, Alice, Zaidee, Lyla, Taylor, James ,Alexandria, Brayden,  and Chace, brothers: Ronald (Shirley) Wenglikowski of Troy, Jerry (Lou) Wenglikowski of Bay City, Bernard (Gladys) Wenglikowski of Bay City, and Donald (Jane) Wenglikowski of Bay City.  A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday January 16, 2010 at St. Vincent  DePaul  Catholic Church, 2956 E.
