Haak, Russell A. Oakley, Michigan Passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 17, 2010 as a result of an accident. Age 42 years. Russell Albert Haak was born November 23, 1967 in Owosso to Lawrence and Jeanette (Wolfe-Bucholz) Haak. He married Christina Schneider June 25, 2005. She survives him. He was a member of the Mid-Michigan Old Gas Tractor Assoc. and Son’s of American Legion. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed participating in the youth archery league with his sons. He is survived by his wife, Christina; two sons, Tom and Eddy Holloway; his mother, Jeanette Haak; siblings, Paula (Don) Stopjik of Wheeler, Earl (Susan) Bucholz of Oakley, Cheryl (Carl) Ziola of Marion Twp., Lorri (Wayne) Beckman of Oakley; nieces and nephews, Chad (Anne) Stopjik, Michele (Les) Spalding, John (Amy) Bucholz, Dan (Linda) Bucholz, Aaron (Sherri) Bucholz, Rita Ziola, Lacey Ziola, Jeff Ziola, Lindsay Beckman, Coty Beckman; many great-nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. Russ was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Walker-Martin Funeral Home. Rev. Dave Woodly will officiate with interment in Wildwood Cemetery.
