Jaksa, James H.,
Beloved father, grandfather and brother passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 at his home. Age 65 years. Son of the late Steven and Rose (Pierce) Jaksa, James was born August 11, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan. James was owner and operator of Jim’s Auto Service of Saginaw for over 30 years. He later was employed by the Saginaw News where he retired in 2012. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Carrollton.
Surviving are three sons, three daughters and their spouses, Donald and Janis Jaksa, Chicago; Katrina and Jeremy Stevens, St. Charles; David and Melissa Jaksa, Ellenton, Florida; Angel and Chip Raabe, St. Charles; Jamie and Kris Rodriguez, Saginaw; Kyle Jaksa, Saginaw; 15 grandchildren; three brothers, Daniel and Sue Jaksa, Auburn; David L. Jaksa, Wellston, Michigan; Bill and Janice Jaksa, Saginaw; several nieces, nephews and cousins. James was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Jaksa.
Funeral Service will take place 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Douglas Kahl will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family.
