Passed away on Wednesday morning,  November 7, 2012 at home. Age 80 years. She was born on February 7, 1932 in Maple Grove Township to the late Anthony and Bertha (Rierson)  Sutter.  Geraldine married Lavern Walser on July 12, 1950, he survive her. Geraldine was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She enjoyed  baking, going to the casino and especially attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Geraldine also enjoyed the time spent with her family.

Surviving is her husdand, Lavern, 5 children; Lavern (Janice Hawn) Walser, Vanessa (Joe) Pacek, Deb (Floyd) McDougall, Steve (Tami) Walser all of Chesaning, Shawn Walser of Houghton lake, 10 grandchildren; Michael (Tiffany) Walser, David Pacek, Hannah (Brent) Beldyga, Chelsi Walser, Bryce Walser, Ciara Walser, Halee McDougall, Jori (Andy) Monnich, Whitney Pacek, Sydney Pacek, 4 great grandchildren; Eden, Bailey, Nevaeh, Shianne.  She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Art and Ray Sutter and sisters, Margaret Sekan and Marilyn Jensen.

Funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.  Fr. Richard Bokinskie will officiate.

Friends may call at the Walker-Martin Funeral Home, Chesaning on Thursday from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm. and at church on Friday after 9:00 am. Scripture service will be 7:00 pm on Thursday. www.wmartinfuneralhome.com
