Passed away on Sunday evening, November 11, 2012 at the Chesaning Nursing Care Cetner. Age 86 years. Maxine was born on April 4, 1926 in Chapin to the late Frederick and Sarah ( Whitney) Wicke. She married Donald Malkaski on January 12, 1963, he survives her. Maxine enjoyed flowers and music. She was a homemaker and also had numerous other jobs.

Surviving besides her husband, Donald are a son, William Abraham of Tennessee, a grandson, Nathan of Flint, a brother, Bernard Wicke of Chapin Township.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ruth Coleman.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at  3:00 pm at the Walker-Martin Funeral Home, Chesaning. Rev. John James will officiate with burial in Ridge Road Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Walker-Martin Funeral Home, Chesaning on Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. Maxine’s husband Don would like to extend a special thanks to the Chesaning Nursing Care Center and staff for the  wonderful care given to Maxine.
