Iris Elizabeth Burzyck, 95, of Saginaw, Michigan, went to be with her Savior, Jesus, on November 7, 2012.  She was born April 18, 1917 to the late John and Helen Livingston.  She was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church.  She lived a wonderful and healthy live.  She was “THE BEST” mom you could have asked for; a Believer in God and Christ, patriotic, a good example to her children and grandchildren, had good morals and values, kind, and loving.  Danies, her husband, predeceased her in 1985 and her daughter Judy Burzyck  VanderVeen of Grand Rapids on October 17, 2012.  Iris was active in the cub scouts and worked at Morley Brothers in the credit department.  She liked watching the Tigers, knitting and crocheting.  She enjoyed numerous family vacations, most every summer weekend at a cottage on Saginaw Bay called the “Chatter Box” and many years after that living in Charlevoix then wintering in Texas for 10 years with Dan before his death.  She lived at South Colony Apartments for 19 years then 5 years at Wescourt Senior Living Complex.  The remaining 2 years she lived with her daughter, Helen in Midland.  Others that predeceased her were a sister, Leona Reagan of Milwaukee, 2 brothers; Frank (Wilma) Livingston and George (Agnes) Livingston.  Remaining are David (Ann) Burzyck of Charlevoix and Helen Burzyck (John) Miller of Midland, and son in law Dave VanderVeen;  also 6 grandchildren; Dan, Jerry and Steve Hill of Grand Rapids, Tom Burzyck of Bay City and Vaughn and Vanessa Miller of Midland.  There are 9 great grandchildren.  A Life Celebration memorial service will be held in Grand Rapids with personal family members.  Expressions of sympathy to MidMichigan Hospice or Resurrection Lutheran Church of Saginaw.  Arrangements  by Cremation Society of MidMichigan.  To sign online guestbook visit www.cremationsocietymidmi.com.
