DENNIS F. ARNDT of Prescott, passed away November 30, 2012 at 83 years of age in MediLodge of Sterling.

He is survived by his wife, Fern who he married July 30, 1946 in Standish.  His children, Deanna (Larry) Fellows, Randy (Sue) Arndt, Vernon (Mary) Arndt, Tim (Linda) Arndt, Tony (Becky) Arndt and Roxi (Steve) Davidek.  Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  Siblings, Grace Zimmerly, Paul Arndt, Adeline Bellevia, Margaret King, Florice Schult, Delyla Black and Connie Braniff.  Preceded in death by siblings, Clarence Arndt, Leonard Arndt, Dora Holmes, Freida Domreis, Helen Valeck and Earl Arndt.

Mr. Arndt was a member of Ironworkers Local 25 for 55 years, the Whittemore Masonic Lodge #471 and the Bay City Shriners.  He enjoyed golfing (for which he had three hole in ones), hunting, fishing, sports and especially spending times at “the farm”.  He enjoyed playing music, the guitar, piano and singing with his brothers Earl and Paul.

The family will receive friends Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 2-8 P.M. at the Prescott Chapel of the Buresh Funeral Home, 101 Harrison Street.  A Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Sunday evening.  Memorial contributions suggested to the Shriner Children’s Hospital.  A memorial service will be held at the “Farm” at a later date.  Those wishing to express words of sympathy may do so at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
