Kostandinos predeceased her in death on August 28, 1974 at the young age of 42.Voula cherished his memory and he lived in her heart throughout her life.  She had formerly worked for her brothers who owned The Savoy Famous Restaurant and and for her cousins at Howard-Johnson's Restaurant and Johnnie's Chick-Inn in Saginaw.  She enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, watching Greek movies, but most of all caring for her family and friends. Voula was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. She has been a long-time member of the women's Philoptochos Society. Voula also enjoyed volunteering her time and efforts at the Greek Festival of Saginaw by baking and making honey puffs.  Over the course of her life, Voula never ceased to put the needs of her family and friends before her own.
