Pawlik, Mrs. Delphine M.,
Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 at her home. Age 88 years. The daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Popecki) Haremski, Delphine was born March 7, 1924. She married Henry F. (Hank) Pawlik on September 27, 1947. He predeceased her August 19, 2008. Delphine was employed at AAA for 10 years. She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and was attending St. Agnes Catholic Church in Freeland. Delphine was a member of V.F.W. Post #1859 Ladies Auxiliary and was actively involved in the Saginaw County Commission for the Blind. She loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are three sons, three daughters and their spouses, David Pawlik and his wife Susan Albertine, Rockville, Maryland; Sue Ann Bierlein, Frankenmuth; Debbi and Dave DeGrow, Freeland; Mary and Mike Sullivan, Troy, Ohio; Don and Lisa Pawlik, Clarkston; Todd and Sheri Pawlik, Beverly Hills, Michigan; 13 grandchildren, Logan and Sawyer Pawlik, Kyle Bierlein, Craig Bierlein and fiancée Kendra Stange, Adam (Amber) Brandimore, Brendan (Lindsay) Pawlik, Lindsay, Spenser and Cameron Pawlik, Alexandria and Rachel Pawlik, Dawn (Reed) Beaver, Jeff (Lisa) DeGrow; great-grandchildren, Owen and Maia Bierlein, Brock Bierlein, Evan and Sydney DeGrow, Daniel Beaver, Jaxon Ross; one brother, Francis Haremski, Saginaw; many sisters-in-law, brothers- in-law, nieces and nephews.
Delphine’s family extends their gratitude to Barton Woods Assisted Living and Avalon Hospice for the loving care thay gave to her.
Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Freeland. Rev. Fr. Robert DeLand will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Freeland on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. There will be a Vigil Service 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Barton Woods Assisted Living, St. Agnes Catholic Church or the charity of their choice.
