Doris passed away early Monday morning December 3, 2012 at Brittany Manor

Living Center (Midland), age 92 years. She was born the daughter of the late Herman

and Claudia (Burdock) Potzger May 14, 1920 in Montmorency County. She was a

member of Trinity Lutheran Church (Monitor) and an active member of Lutheran

 Ladies Auxillary since 1936. She is survived by 2 nephews; Eugene Potzger, Midland,

 Randell Potzger, Traverse City, 2 nieces; Catheran and Lowell Balzum, San Marcos,

CA., M. Paula and Paul Stabnau, Traverse City and 9 great nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by 2 brothers; Walter, Martin, 1 nephew; Richard and a niece in-law; Joyce Potzger.

Funeral and committal services will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday evening December

7, 2012 at the Auburn Chapel of the Cunningham-Taylor Funeral Homes, Inc. Rev.

David F. Sherry will officiate, private burial will take place in Elm Lawn Cemetery

(Bay City). Doris’s family will receive friends at the Auburn Chapel on Friday

evening from 3:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, envelopes for

“A time to build” Trinity Lutheran Church (Monitor) will be available at the funeral

home.
