Survived By: She is survived by her children, Frederick (Halley) Wallace of Hale, Marie (Richard) Kaiser of Glennie, Mary Weaver of West Branch and Donald (Linda) Wallace of Heartland. 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. Her siblings, Paul (Melba) Denstedt, Junior (Marie) Denstedt and Lucille Brindley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wallace is preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, Samuel and Lucy Denstedt along with four brothers, three sisters and one great-granddaughter, Marlana.

GLADYS M. WALLACE of West Branch, passed away December 4, 2012 at 93 years of age.

 

She is survived by her children, Frederick (Halley) Wallace of Hale, Marie (Richard) Kaiser of Glennie, Mary Weaver of West Branch and Donald (Linda) Wallace of Heartland.  12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.  Her siblings, Paul (Melba) Denstedt, Junior (Marie) Denstedt and Lucille Brindley.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Wallace is preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, Samuel and Lucy Denstedt along with four brothers, three sisters and one great-granddaughter, Marlana.

 

Gladys was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church where she was the past president of the Ladies Alter Society.  She and her husband, John were very instrumental in the building of the church.  She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and raising flowers and always had “beautiful” gardens.  She also enjoyed watching baseball on television and was an avid Tiger fan.
