Consuelo Castanon age 64 of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away December 9, 2012 at home following an extended illness.  The former Consuelo Buitron was born January 11, 1948 in Saginaw and was a 1966 graduate of Buena Vista High School. She married Richard Castanon on August 21, 1970.  Mrs. Castanon was employed by A T & T for 32 years and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband Richard; 3 children, Maria Espinoza, Richard Castanon Jr., and Santino Castanon; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 sister and 2 brothers, Angelina Jimenez, Adam Buitron, and Raymond Buitron.

Funeral Service will take place 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with. Fr. Frank Voris officiating.  Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  Friends may call at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and then at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Service
