Survived By: Dean is survived by four daughters, Tammy Delavega, Bev Francis, Sherrie & Kristopher Zachmann, and Kristy Donovan, all of Caro; many grandchildren and great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Dean Lewis; four sisters, Eleanor Baranic, Mildred Lewis, Maxine Gunsell and Marion Smith; one son-in-law, Randy Donovan.

Dean H. Lewis (Builder), age 71, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Covenant Health Care – Harrison in Saginaw.  He was born March 7, 1941 in Caro, the son of the late Huron and Alice (VanDervoort) Lewis.  Dean lived and worked as a self-employed carpenter in the Caro and Watrousville areas all of his life.  He loved spending time with his family and friends.  Dean enjoyed fishing, gambling, and working in his woodshop.  He was always willing to lend a hand or give advice.   

Dean is survived by four daughters, Tammy Delavega, Bev Francis, Sherrie & Kristopher Zachmann, and Kristy Donovan, all of Caro; many grandchildren and great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Dean Lewis; four sisters, Eleanor Baranic, Mildred Lewis, Maxine Gunsell and Marion Smith; one son-in-law, Randy Donovan.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating.  Burial will follow at the Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro.  The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Dean Lewis Family Discretionary Fund, c/o Kristopher Zachmann, 205 W.
