HUERTA, Ann L. – of Clio, age 61, died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at McLaren of Flint. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Larry Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Thetford Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1-8PM where a memorial by the Gordon R. Bennett VFW Post #1452 Ladies Auxiliary will be held at 7PM. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
Ann was born April 20, 1951 in Flint to Charles and Marian (LaBean) Davison and lived in Clio her entire life. She was a 1969 graduate of Clio High School. Ann married Albert Huerta on April 18, 1970. Mrs. Huerta worked for the City of Clio from 1988 to 2002 as a clerk. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mt. Morris, and the Gordon R. Bennett VFW Post #1452 Ladies Auxiliary. She loved playing bingo and cards, loved camping and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are: husband, Al; children, Kristina Huerta of Montrose, Brian Huerta of Mt. Morris, David (Angie) Huerta of Clio, Angie Huerta of AZ; 4 grandchildren, Derek, Julia, Cale and Brayden; mother, Marian Davison of Mt. Morris; siblings, John (Sue) Davison of TN, Lynn Watson of Burton, Larry (JoLynn) Davison of Falmouth, Shelly Ingram of AL; many nieces and nephews.
