Survived By: She is survived by her children, Devon (Priscilla) Toner of Belton, TX, Darell (June) Toner of Sanford, Lorraine DeLavern of Allegan, Delmer (Josephine) Toner, Harry Delaney (Gretta) Toner, Durwood (Onilee) Toner all of Midland. Goldie will be greatly missed by her 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Goldie was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Toner on June 1, 1976; son, Darwin Lee Toner in May 2001; one grandchild and two great grandchildren.

Goldie Rae (Grim) Toner, 96, of Midland, died Sunday evening Dec. 16, 2012 at Applewood Assisted Living, where she has lived for the past four years.  She was born October 20, 1916 in Bentley, BayCounty, the daughter of the late Martin and Delilah (Lemming) Grim.On Nov. 10, 1934, she married Harry E. Toner. Goldie enjoyed going dancing, playing cards with her children, camping and taking trips with her special friends, Agnes Sommerville and Kittie Horden. 

 

She is survived by her children, Devon (Priscilla) Toner of Belton, TX, Darell (June) Toner of Sanford, Lorraine DeLavern of Allegan, Delmer (Josephine) Toner, Harry Delaney (Gretta) Toner, Durwood (Onilee) Toner all of Midland. Goldie will be greatly missed by her 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.  Goldie was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Funeral services for Goldie will take place 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2012 from the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street with Pastor Tom Schomaker of the Gordonville United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will take place in the Midland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Goldie’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Gordonville United Methodist Church.
