Alfred "George" Arnold Endert, 82 of Gladwin, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland, Michigan after a brief illness. He was born in Oberlin, Michigan on May 21, 1930 to the late Alfred and Marie (Adams) Endert. He married Geraldine Mitchell on October 2, 1954 at the Oberlin Lutheran Church. He had lived hid entire life in Gladwin County and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Chuch. Alfred was a lifetime Dairy Farmer, partnering with his son to make Endert Farms in the 1970's. He loved to deer hunt, play cards, and go to the restaurant in his later years. He also loved to  ride aroung in his pickup with his special dog "Sparky". He is survived by his wife: Geraldine Endert of Gladwin, MI;  daughter: Lucille (Larry) Thomas of St. Clair Shores, MI; son: Mark (Kathy) Endert of Gladwin, MI; granddaughters: Carianne (Arlyn) Klaasen of Hamilton, MI; Stephanie Endert of Rochester, MN; great grandson: Parker Jay Klaasen; 4 sisters: Martha (Derwood) Ockerman of West Branch, MI; Genevieve (Duane) Yager of Coleman, MI; Gertrude Lemke; Aldena (Joe) Esiline also of Gladwin. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters and brother in-laws: Agnes (Arthur) Gatz, Lorraine (Pete) Banchoff and Lawrence Lemke. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Rod Reid on Saturday, December 22, 2012, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 21, 2012 from 2-8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's Charity of Choice.
