Irene was called to be with the Lord and to celebrate a special Christmas this year with her daughter, Mary Margaret and her husband, Dan O'Leary. Irene was born in Bay City, Michigan on September 28,1921, to Herman P. and Margaret B (Meier) King. She graduated from Central High School and was united in marriage to Dan O'Leary on July 12,1941 by the Rev. C.R. Cahill at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Bay City. She played softball, enjoyed bowling, playing cards, word puzzles, fishing, line dancing and walking. She was a terrific homemaker and for many years she was one of the "Hot Lunch" ladies at St. Mary's School.
