Ricky A. McGrandy

Bay City, Michigan

     Ricky passed away at his home Friday, December 28, 2012, age 54.  He was born August 13, 1958 in Saginaw, MI to the late Tuffield A. and Elsie M. (LaFray) McGrandy.  He married Pamela S. Callahan on July 28, 1978; she survives him. Ricky retired from Bay Metro Transportation and loved cooking and grilling.  He enjoyed camping and spending time with his grandchildren.

     Surviving besides his wife, Pamela are seven children: April, Robert (Emily), Jeremy (fiancé, Sarah) McGrandy, Melissa (Scott) Foote, Tiffani (Matt) Dean, Rebecca and Elizabeth McGrandy, nine grandchildren, one sister, Beatrice (Gerald) Darby, Ricky’s foster mother, Carol Baker and her daughter, Andrea.  Ricky was predeceased by his foster father, Richard Baker, one brother, Timothy McGrandy and one sister, Rebecca Baker.

     Family and friends will gather at Squires Funeral Home on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 1:00 to 7:00pm.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to “Family Wishes.”
