In life a very active lady, Margaret Larson, age 88 succumbed after a brief illness on December 30, 2012.
Prior to marrying Vaughn L. Larson, February 25, 1945 Margaret Connolly enlisted in the US Navy Hospital Corps serving in WWII. After attending Cleary College Margaret worked as both a dental and medical assistant. Predeceased by her husband, Margaret is survived by three children: Mary (Dwight) Sieggreen, Northville, MI; Susan (Alan) Luce-Langschwager, Beulah, MI; and Ron Larson, Saginaw, MI. In addition to eight great grandchildren, Marisa Cullens, Dr. Lars Langschwager, Marcy Sieggreen, Kyle Langschwager, Lisa Auvil, Cale Larson and Travis Larson are her grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother David Connolly and a dear friend Jerry Campbell. Margaret was also predeceased by two brothers and a sister; Dr. Paul Connolly, Robert Connolly, and Mary Baltz.
Funeral Services will take place at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2012 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Fr. Joseph Schabel will officiate with military honors rendered by V.F.W. Post #1859 with cremation to follow. Friends may call at the funeral chapel from 1:00 p.m. Friday until the time of the service.
