Survived By: Surviving besides his wife of 54 years are their children; Tom (Dee) Charo, Gracie (James) Stempek, Sylvia Charo, Sicillio (Grace) Charo, Robert Charo and Ruben Charo, 21 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren , great great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild baby peanuts on the way, a brother Mike Charo, and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Mr. Charo, age 77, loving husband, father, and grandfather went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 2, 2013.  He was born on July 24, 1935 in Pearsall, Texas to the late Nicholas & Herminia (Rodriguez) Charo.  He married the former Olivia Trevino on June 1958 in Arkansas.  She survives him.  Nick was a member of the Pinconning Wesleyan Church and the UAW Local 668.  He will be remembered for telling jokes and his love of going out to restaurants for dinners.  Nick enjoyed going on daily walks and visiting with his friends at dialysis, but most of all spending time with his family.  Surviving besides his wife of 54 years are their children; Tom (Dee) Charo, Gracie (James) Stempek, Sylvia Charo, Sicillio (Grace) Charo, Robert Charo and Ruben Charo, 21 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren , great great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild baby peanuts on the way, a brother Mike Charo, and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.  He was predeceased by a brother Manuel, and three sisters Rosa, Hulia, and Poncha.

 

Funeral Services will be held Monday January 7, 2013 at 1 pm from the Pinconning Wesleyan Church with Pastor Chris Austin presiding with burial in Pinconning Township Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church from 10 am until time of service.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home.
