Raymond Zissler, 81, of Reese, died Friday morning, January 4, 2013 at his daughter’s home in Caro.  He was born on December 20, 1931, son of the late Walter F. and Gertrude E. (Schnettler) Zissler.  He married the former Betty Lou Wilson on June 5, 1954 at Christ Lutheran Church in Reese. She preceded him on November 12, 2006.  Surviving are his children, Ray C. Zissler of Reese, Kay and Clyde Coffey of Caro, Robert E. Zissler of Detroit, Debbie S. DuBois of Hillman and Richard P. Zissler of Reese; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Spiekerman of Reese and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his wife and parents, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter preceded him in death.  Ray’s family will receive friends at the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 9940 Saginaw Street, Reese on Tuesday, January 8^th  from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.  Cremation will follow the visitation.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Heartland Hospice.
