Chronowski, Mrs. Marjorie E.,
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and daughter passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013 at her home. Age 61 years. The daughter of James Gale and the late Bernadette (Rosa) Gale, Marjorie was born December 19, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married David Chronowski, her loving husband of 24 years, on August 8, 1988. He survives her. Marjorie was employed at the Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth for 18 years until her retirement in 2006. She enjoyed sailing, camping, cooking and swimming. Most of all, Marjorie loved spending time with her family.
Surviving besides her husband David are two sons, one daughter and their spouses, Jarid and Marie Lang, Birch Run; Larry Lang, Birch Run; Amanda and Andrew Elliott, Saginaw; eight grandchildren, Guile (Ashley) Lang, Jillian Lang, Liberty Lang, Patience Lang, Jack Panek, Madalyn Panek, Conrad Elliott and Mason Elliott; a great-grandson, Jaxson Lang; Marjorie’s father, James Gale, San Jose, Costa Rica; two sisters and one brother, Valerie Gale, Karen and James Dravenstatt-Moceri, James and Randa Gale; many nieces and nephews. Marjorie was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Gale, and by a special aunt, Rose Mary (Jerome) Martek.
Honoring Mrs. Chronowski’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at St. Josaphat Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Ronald Dombrowski will officiate. Friends may call at St. Josaphat Catholic Church where the family will be present on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Josaphat Catholic Church. Arrangements entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road.
