Donald T. Fortin

Bay City, Michigan

     Donald passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region, age 78.  He was born February 2, 1934 in Bay City to the late Levi J. and Josephine (Tennier) Fortin.  Donald worked at New Dimensions for several years and was a member of the Voice Deaf Club.

     Surviving is a sister, Marie Prashak, a brother, Julian Fortin and many nieces and nephews.

     The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 11:00am at Squires Funeral Home.  Fr. Dale Orlik will officiate and interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00am until the time of service.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to The Voice Deaf Club.

     A special thank you to everyone at Michigan Community Services, Bay Arenac Behavioral Health Services and Catholic Family Services for their helping hands and support they gave Donald over many years.  You are all angels and a blessing.
